There are many legal matters that do not require a lawyer.
Simply Unwed Paralegal Services is here to provide a more cost effective option for individuals.
We provide cost effective legal services and support when lawyers are not required, or are inaccessible.
Please note that while paralegals can provide assistance and support to unrepresented litigants who are trying to navigate their way through a legal matter (in or out of court), they cannot provide legal advice.

Consent Division of Property Orders starting at $400.00.
What constitutes an "Uncontested Divorce"?
This is when one party files for divorce and the other party is served and agrees to what is being asked for and the parties can proceed with no conflict involved. Matters such as child support and parenting, spousal support support and division
of joint property has already been agreed upon.
A "Joint Divorce" is similar to an uncontested divorce, but both parties complete their portion of the court forms and neither party is "served" with the divorce documents. The documents are then all submitted for filing with the court all at once as a package.
Please note that while you can file for divorce at any point, you cannot finalize a divorce until you have have been separated for one year.
Court Form Assistance and Paralegal Services
If you are planning to represent yourself at court and need help with just a form or two, we can help! We offer 1:1 assistance with filling out the court forms, or you can have us complete the forms for you, both at our hourly rate. Some of the areas we assist with are child support applications, parenting applications and adoption applications.
Guardianship and Trusteeship
If you have a loved one who has experienced a loss of capacity, or ability to make decisions on their own behalf, or when an adult who is unable to make decisions for themselves requires assistance with respect to their finances and/or their care, then you may need an order appointing someone as Guardian and/or Trustee. Often individuals find these do-it-yourself forms complicated and overwhelming.
We offer flat rate packages starting at $450.00 to ensure everyone has an affordable option to protect their loved ones. This fee includes an initial meeting to gather information, drafting of the application forms, and further meetings to finalize and sign your documentation.
Will Documents
Wills and other estate documents such as Personal Directives and Powers of Attorney are important documents to have for everyone, but they are especially important to have updated upon separation and/or divorce. We offer affordable rates on both will packages and individual document preparation for everyone, because we think everyone should be able to afford to have a will in place.
Our individual documents start at $200.00/document and our package discounts start at just $350.00 for an individual or $450.00 for a couple.
If you are not sure if our office can assist you with your matter,
